How do you remove a paint spot from concrete?

by admin — Categories: Patios — Tags: , , , 4 Comments

Earlier today I dropped some modeling paint on my back patio, it is Testors brand if that makes any difference, and I’m not sure how to remove it. I have seen many people suggesting a power washer or sand blaster, but renting one for such a small area would be a waste of money. Are there any products that would remove it from concrete?

How to clean dried night crawlers/worms off concrete?

I live in florida and just moved to a new house with a big porch. When it rained hard the other day a million nightcrawler worms crawled up on my porch in a mass suicide. The next morning they dried up and it’s hard to get them off of my textured concrete patio…they are stuck. I don’t want to have to be on my hands and knees or use a pressure washer everyday! Any suggestions for how to prevent/clean them off…they are like baked on. I know they are good for the garden but not my porch.

What is the best way to clean paint spots and green spots from plants/shrubs on patio cement?

My front porch cement has paint spots from the previous owner

I have tried using a pressure washer without any luck. The other idea I had is to cover the cement with landscaping thin bricks or I have seen 12 x 12 tiles that have little tiny stones built in them which would be very nice looking however I have no clue on how to install these correctly.

how can I remove armour all from concrete?

by admin — Categories: Patios — Tags: , , , 2 Comments

I am attempting to acid stain my stamped concrete driveway. I have etched it with muriatic acid. Ihave nuetralized it with TSP. When I wet it with water the concrete stays white where armour all spray has been used on tires over the years. I know the acid stain will not penetrate these 8 area’s. I have scrubbed them with TSP, Driveway degreaser, 3300 psi pressure washer etc. What gets the armour all out?

Removing moss from concrete?

by admin — Categories: Patios — Tags: , , , , , 5 Comments

I have a concrete walk with rocks imbedded in it. It is a real moss trap. I have a pressure washer that clears it, but it is tedious and it tends to kick the rocks out of the concrete. I tried a bleach/detergent mix I read about, but it doesn’t work. Is there something I can apply and garden hose off that will remove the moss but not the stones?

How do you get grease off concrete???

We fried a turkey on Thanksgiving and the only place we have to do it at is on our back porch. Yeah I know not the smartest thing but anyway. Its now March and we scrubbed it today for the first time.(Nice weather) We have scrubbed and scrubbed. We used some kind of orange concrete cleaner and Dawn dish detergent. Those have not worked. What is a good home cleaner to get this off. I know maybe a power washer but try a little more cheaper. Thanks
Maybe something that wont kill my grass around the patio.
